If you’re a regular visitor here, then you likely noticed that I missed a post Friday, but the fact is, I had nothing more to say. If you are old enough to remember what a broken record or a skipping CD sounded like, then you’ll understand the principle I’m pointing to here. How many times can one repeat themselves before the effort begins to seem needlessly redundant?
That isn’t to say that I have given up – far from it, I continue to pray and seek the intervention of the Almighty – but at some point one begins to wonder if any good comes from continually plowing seemingly fallow ground.
Now, none of this is ignorant of the mighty moves God has already made, I mean we’ve just seen one of the wickedest doctrines to afflict the U.S. and her allies dealt a deafening blow ~ but then the battle doesn’t end there does it… For those who actually know a bit about the U.S. Government and how it was designed to operate, this just pushes the battle-lines back to the level of the states.
Ultimately, it’s indicative of a war for the culture, and that means that it’s a war for the minds of the individual ~ and let me tell you, there is no shortage of… wrong headed individuals out there. Moreover, they seem to be the most obnoxiously loud when we’re dealing with issues that would otherwise be utterly clear-cut and morally unambiguous. Sound like the tactics of anyone you know? Sure rings a strong bell for me.
I want to make it clear – I have not given up and I am not quitting the site. I don’t do this for me and never intend to. I do this because I was instructed to. I am human, get preoccupied and even drop the ball – but then, like any good soldier, I get back up and soldier on. So this is me, soldiering on.
Stay strong prayer warriors. I know that God is on the move. We can’t see it, and at times we’re made to believe that the proverbial wheels aren’t turning, but we know that they are. In fact, the wheels of God’s justice grind exceedingly fine. Perhaps that’s what takes so long?
Until next time,
