The Other Shoe

When I began this site, I made the personal commitment to post one article per week and, with one or two exceptions, I have made good on this so far. The thing is, I try to never post something that’s simply my own opinion or outlook, but to write those things which I am led or prompted to write. That’s not to say that my articles don’t get a healthy dose of my own personal outlook, perspective or style – of course they do – but my intention has always been to write about what the Lord tells me to write about, and to come at it from the perspective He grants.

Sometimes, this can make one feel like a broken-record… skipping back and repeating the same thoughts, points and teachings over and over again. This is due in large part to the fact that, while our circumstances may seem to change, His perspective never does. God doesn’t change. His Word doesn’t change, nor does His will. It should not surprise you to learn therefore, that this article is yet another reiteration, standing frim on the promises made through the mouths of the prophets and destined for such a time as this.

Please don’t get that twisted; my hope… my faith is not in the prophets, but in the One who has spoken through them. And the Spirit in me testifies to the Spirit who has spoken through them. So like “Little John” in the Bugs Bubby cartoon I referenced previously, I am here again to call the faithful to take heart and to continue to pray and contend for JUSTICE in the United States and throughout the world, for REVIVAL to ignite and sweep across the land bringing about the Billion Soul Harvest and to uphold the Sanctity of Life and interceding for the God-Given Right of the Unborn to LIVE.

So, to the point – when I asked the Lord what He wanted to say this week, He uttered three simple words:

The Other Shoe…

I finished the statement; “will drop”. Whether or not that is a good thing depends entirely on who’s side you’re on – but if you’re reading this, the odds are that you’re definitely on the right side!

I’ve said many times over that this last election was not about a man or even an office, but about righteousness and justice for generations to come and that is as true today as it was the first time it was given utterance… Interestingly, the video below popped up and further strengthened my resolve. Note that we are rapidly approaching seven years to the day from when this prophecy was given:

And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13

Until next time,
