Last week I shared a video with you in honor of the beginning of Sukkot. Today, as we prepare to wrap up the week-long festival and observe Shemini Atzeret – the Eight Day Assemby, I wanted to share some more and take a closer look a this appointed time and some of the meaning behind it all.
What follows are some videos that help explain this, and why it’s relevant to believers today. The first video comes from 119 Ministries, a teaching ministry I have found invaluable throughout the past several years.
The second video I want to share with you today comes from One For Israel ~ a Messianic Ministry based in Israel, and provides further insight specific to this Mo’ed as well as some of the traditions that have developed around it.
Hopefully these provide you with further understanding of, not only Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret, but of the Mo’edim as a whole… they are, after all YHVH’s appointed times.
On a seemingly unrelated note, Sid Roth released a video montage of prophetic words given recently regarding the state of affairs in the United States and the calling of believers to pray and fast at this time. I say “seemingly” because, it is in fact very appropriate that now, during this period of tabernacling with the Lord of Hosts, we would receive insight and instruction regarding current affairs.
