He Will Come…

Have you ever felt like a broken record? I certainly have, and currently do! Each time I sit to write an article for this site, I am led back to the same essential message. One might get the impression that I am something of a political activist, but nothing could actually be further from the truth.

Personally, I ascribe to a philosophy espoused by a dear friend and mentor in the faith – that being that “the only real justice we’ll receive will come from the Lord upon His return.” This however, does not infer that I don’t believe the Lord can or will work His mighty Hand prior to the second coming – He has been telling me He will and I for one believe Him.

I honestly had nothing to write this week as I didn’t know if I had it in me to repeat myself yet again… in the words of Tom Petty; “the waiting is the hardest part“, but this morning I finally got up with every intention on holding true to my commitment to God to post an article each week, I awoke with a song in my spirit – so, today isn’t particularly verbose, but the message is potent and poignant none-the-less.

Today, I let someone else be the “record” that plays…

For those interested, this is from the band Waterdeep. This one is written by Lori Chaffer (the lovely lady in the image above) and was originally released on the album Everyone’s Beautiful in 1999.

This last could be considered something of a “personal message” and, because it is something of a direct message to a specific individual, I leave it without further context.

Again, for those interested, this is also from Waterdeep – written by Don Chaffer and originally released on the album To Chase Away the Birds in 1995.

Until next time,
