Years ago I became acutely aware of the “Prophetic Circuit”. A number of programs and podcasts that focus on those prophetic voices crying out in our culture for one purpose or another. Many of these individuals certainly act the part – they speak the right language and present their insights with a confidence and seeming authority.
Now, I’m not going to lie, many of these individuals have struck me… oddly. It seemed to me, regarding many of them, that something was off, and I listened to them with a healthy amount of skepticism. One individual who did NOT strike me in such a way was one Mark Taylor.
This man, Mark Taylor, was a common man with a simple desire to share what the Lord had spoken to him. He was (and is) a simple southern gentleman (very evident when he speaks), yet when he presented the words the Lord had given him, they were in the form of prose. (See definition 1b).
Mark Taylor made a number of statements which were rather eyebrow raising. Because of the severity of these words, I marked them, and marked him to test the validity, despite my instinct telling me that he is telling the truth. You see, he was pretty unambiguous with his statements and predicted some rather monumental events:
- He said, prior to the 2016 election, that Donald Trump would be elected President. In fact, he said this years before candidacy was even being considered, like in 2006.
- He said that Obama would reign a third term – a prediction that had many decrying him out of hand. IF you’re not aware, you’ve been watching this play out the past two years. If you think sleepy Joe is the one at the wheel, well, I got nothing for you.
- He said that one Supreme Court Justice would die and… he said that Roe vs. Wade would be overturned.
Obviously, those things happened. But what has he predicted that hasn’t happened? Below are a few items which haven’t happened yet:
- He said that Donald Trump would serve a second term. At no point in any of what I read or listened to, did he indicate that this would be consecutive.
- He said that two more Supreme Court Justices would step down after being embroiled in significant scandal – that they would leave their positions in shame.
- He said that the corruption in our government (United States) would be exposed and judged.
- He said a great many things that I pray and hope are as true as those above!

I address this today because it’s very important for the people of God to know that there are still prophets among us. It’s important to understand that, while their are many who claim to be prophets and would gladly make merchandise of us, there are true prophets. Moreover, He – the Lord – as granted us the means of discerning who’s who.
I have prayed for years that YHVH would move and act to vindicate His servants, the prophets… folks, it appears that time has arrived.
