There is an old idiom among believers: “new level, new devil”. You see, much as in the game of chess, as we make progress in the battle for the soul of humanity, we may see obstacles removed, but this in turn exposes a new layer of resistance. Much as the removal of enemy pawns marks progress, so too does it expose more powerful enemy pieces and likewise give them more room to operate; rooks, bishops and queens come to mind…
Recently, for those with eyes to see, we have witnessed a significant shift in the culture and events which point to even more significant changes to come. As these events have unfolded, I have also noted an increase in distractions and issues which need not necessarily be issues, but which I am seeing highlighted for one reason or another.
Recently, following the highly positive conclusion of such a distraction, I felt unsettled. Knowing that this did not stem from the issue or resolution to which I’d just attended, I had to seek the Lord in order to get a grasp on why I was unsettled. His response:
Feint
For those who aren’t familiar, feint is a term typically used with regard to fencing. A feint is an intentional misdirection wherein you attempt to cause your enemy to defend against an attack that is actually not coming. The point of doing this is to cause your opponent to leave themselves vulnerable to the real, intended attack.

What I believe the Lord was showing me is that the enemy is currently in the process of throwing any number of issues our way in an attempt to get us to remove our focus from the weightier matters we’ve been watching unfold and praying into for years now. Now is not the time to lose sight of the prize…
In the last four years we have seen the continuing exposure of corruption from the lowest to the highest levels of our government. We have seen the exposure of blatant propaganda paraded about under the façade of being “news“. We have seen an exponential increase in the awakening of not only the citizens of the United States, but of the entire world. We have seen an increased exposure and “crack-down” on child-abuse, pedophilia and human-trafficking as a whole. We have seen the increased awareness of agendas that, while put forth as being anti-racist, are being exposed as racist in and of themselves. We have seen a growing recognition of the unity of mankind as a whole and the overwhelming recognition and repentance for the genocide of a generation directly within the womb.
In the last 4 years, we have seen three constitutionally conservative justices seated in the highest court in the land; Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and now Amy Coney Barret. We have seen the appointment of fifty-three judges to the United States Court of Appeals with one appointment still pending. We have seen the appointment of one-hundred, sixty-two judges to the United States District Courts with thirty-three more pending. We have seen two appointments to the United States Court of International Trade with two more pending. We have seen six appointments to the United States Court of Federal Claims with seven more pending. Seven appointments to the United States Tax Court, six appointments to the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, one appointment to the Court of Military Commission Review, one appointment and one pending for the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and one judge appointed to the Territorial courts (Article IV).
Are you starting to get the picture?
In order to see actual justice effected in the United States, we must first ensure that we have appointed just judges to uphold our laws and judicate accordingly. Looking through the preceding list, I have to say that it’s evident there’s been a metric ton of ground-work laid.
All of this is to say that we have come so far, now is not the time to take our eyes off of the assignment the Lord called us to. Now is the time to press and press hard. The Lord often speaks to me in music and often, when He really wants to get my attention, He does so by calling forth music that is “out of time”… as it tends to snap me to attention.
Recently, the following came to my attention once again:
Brothers and sisters, we are almost there. Eyes front soldiers of the Most High. We are taking this hill in the name of the Lord! I pray that the Lord paint my Nation Red under the shed blood of Yeshua Ha Mashiach, Jesus the Messiah.
