Complicit…

Allow me to start with an apology. I committed, on a pressing of the Holy Spirit when i began this site, to releasing an article every week. For those of you who realize that I have done so by publishing an article every Friday thus far, I missed my deadline yesterday. This marks the second time since the inception of this site that I have missed it and for that, I apologize… this is not a commitment I take lightly because, it isn’t a commitment made to anyone other than the King.

With that said, the following, though late, is this week’s article:

~

I pondered for quite some time as to how I wanted to go about this article, but ultimately decided the best place to start is at the beginning. “Duh” right? The thing is, the beginning will likely seem very, very strange to many out there because, quite frankly, the Lord speaks to me in some relatively unusual ways; license plates, pop-culture references and music (secular music from my past to be specific) to name a few.

With that out of the way, last week I was sitting and praying into current events – particularly the election. This is a complicated subject for me because my perspective on all that has happened is bifurcated – that it is, it runs on two tracks simultaneously.

On one hand, I am thankful for how the Lord has directed the events surrounding all of this – after all, had the vote been honest and the results what they should have been, we would never have known exactly how bad things are and how many compromised, treasonous individuals infest the swamp we call our governments. Governors, Secretaries of State, Congressmen and Senators, Mayors, FBI and CIA brass, Judges, Justices and the list goes on and on and on…

On the other hand, I am angry – and I mean straight up pissed off. First of all there’s a healthy dose of what the hell?! followed by an over-abundance of indignance. I mean, how in the world is judge after judge and justice after justice able to blithely hand-wave every case filed on this election in the face of thousands of affiants, statistical analysis galore, eye witness testimony, video evidence and more?

I had complained on more than one occasion about how things were going and that, at every turn, it seemed any attempts at justice and truth were being thwarted arbitrarily.

You asked me to expose all of the corruption, did you not?

I had to pause… because I knew I had. Many, many, many times I had and in His response, I understood that much of what is transpiring even now is a tangible answer to our prayers (after all, I’m far from the only one praying this). Even still, I found myself praying into these events with a fair amount of anger and frustration, day in and day out.

“Is there none righteous Lord? Not one in all the land who will actually hear evidence before passing judgement? This is not justice Father!” I prayed aloud.

Suddenly, it felt as though I was sitting right in front of a tremendous speaker system, and a song began blaring in the spirit. It was so forceful that, even though there was no audible sound in the physical, I felt the need to cover my ears:

You were warned. I told you that He speaks to me in some pretty strange ways and to be honest, through an 80’s “Hair Band” has to be one of the strangest yet!

For those disinclined to listen to the video, I will provide the lyrics here:

I count the falling tears
They fall before my eyes
Seems like a thousand years
Since we broke the ties
I call you on the phone
But never get a rise
So sit there all alone
It’s time you realize

.

I’m not your fool (Nobody’s fool)
I’m no fool (Nobody’s fool)
Never again no no

.

You take your road I’ll take mine,
The paths have both been beaten
Searchin’ for a change of pace
Life needs to be sweetened
I scream my heart out just to make a dime
And with that dime I bought your love
But now I’ve changed my mind

Cinderella – Night Songs (c) 1986 The Island Def Jam Music Group

Now, let’s get into this a bit.

First, understand that the Lord was not directing this song at me specifically, but was speaking to the situation and all of those who have sided with unrighteousness at this pivotal moment (we’ll come back to that). The “volume” of this was deafening and stands to illustrate the violence of the response we are about to see manifest in a very real, physical sense.

Yes, really.

First an foremost, consider the chorus of the song in light of scripture… did I seriously just relate a Cinderalla song to scripture?! Wow, things I never thought I’d say…

Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool. For a person will reap what he sows, because the person who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

Galatians 6:7 – 8

You see that right?

Couple that with the following:

In the same way, the promise that I make does not return to me, having accomplished nothing. No, it is realized as I desire and is fulfilled as I intend.

Isaiah 55:11

All together, this is one heck of a powerful word from the Lord. He will vindicate His servants, the Prophets. He will fulfill all of His promises and nothing, I repeat nothing will stop Him from accomplishing His will in the Earth.

We have some issues to tackle in response to this and in keeping with the principle that judgement start within the house of the Lord, we need to start there.

Lately I’ve heard an awful lot of noise from within the “church”. Some of it is defeatist, some of it compromised and some if it is straight out weak… especially from the pulpits.

To be fair, it isn’t that what I am hearing from many of the pulpits isn’t true or that there isn’t anything to be gleaned… but seriously, if you aren’t actively speaking into our present circumstances, what the hell are you doing and why aren’t you leading people in the midst of the most titanic spiritual battle of our lifetimes?

Up front, we need to get to grips with the difference between the God depicted by popular culture and “modern” theology and the character of God as revealed in the scriptures. Anger, wrath and judgement are every bit as much an immutable part of His nature and character as are His love and grace. We all get “warm fuzzies” from discussions of love and grace, but spend very little – if any – time on His attributes concerning wrath and justice.

I think we bear reminding of from the hand of Solomon:

For everything there is an appointed time, and an appropriate time for every activity on earth:

.

A time to be born, and a time to die; time to plant, and a time to uproot what was planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

.

A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to search, and a time to give something up as lost; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to rip, and a time to sew; a time to keep silent, and a time to speak.

.

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 – 7

Here’s the thing; I’m all for preaching and teaching on love and grace, but there’s a time for that. We are in a war right now and I am hearing far too few messages from the pulpits on this matter. Frankly, it’s unacceptable.

Samuel didn’t saunter out on the field just before David beheaded Goliath and speak to him (David) about “speaking truth in love”. No, David knew his enemy and slew him dead. That’s what war looks like and sometimes it’s straight-up ugly, and yet simultaneously just.

Now is not the time for coddling feelings and tickling itchy ears; it is time for the sons and daughters of the King to be decreeing and declaring victory for the Kingdom and defeat for the enemies of truth – feelings be damned.

I’ve said before and will say again; get in the fight, or get out of the way. If you choose to do the latter, please exit quietly. The rest of us have a battle to fight and we need to be focused on matters other than your opinion.

On another note, for four years we’ve been told about the well-meaning 99%. I’m talking about those agents and employees of organizations and bureaucracies – such as the FBI – who have engaged in flagrant fraud, lied to the American Public as well as the world, pushed narratives that were ludicrous and wholly fabricated and wasted millions of taxpayer dollars on investigations into matter they knew full-well were fabricated nonsense.

If you are among this “99%”, I want you to know that you don’t get a pass. Where are the whistle-blowers? Where are the truth-seekers? Where are the patriots?

If you know that your agency has been engaged in this nonsense, or continues to promote false narratives and say nothing, your silence makes you complicit. There are no two ways about it. If you refuse to call out corruption for what it is, you are contributing to it by permitting it to continue. This marks you as a coward. It marks you as a participant and it marks you as an enemy of the truth, and of the people.

You think that’s harsh? Wait until you hear what the King himself has to say about it… and mark my words, He will speak out.

~

As a final thought and a word of encouragement to the faithful, know that the Lord is about to move mightily and that He will do so in a way that will be attributable to Him and Him alone.

The Lion of Judah is about to roar.

Until next time.
