I can’t speak for other locations around our globe, but here within the United States, there has been a great deal of discussion about unmasking and I get the distinct impression that an unmasking is what the world is about to witness. To be clear, what the media are discussing with regards to “unmasking” – specifically as regards the case of one Lieutenant General Michael Flynn and what I am pointing to are not the same thing, but the message stands regardless.
For those unfamiliar, the unmasking being discussed in the media currently is actually the process of revealing the name(s) of U.S. citizens in matters of surveillance. If the individual in question is incidental to, but not the subject of investigation, publishing their name in documentation associated with or pursuant to said surveillance is actually a violation of their constitutional rights. We could go on with this, but there are sources far more knowledgeable, articulate and well-versed than I on such matters.
While I am far from uninterested in these proceedings (indeed I see “dominoes” being set in place even now), the message being impressed on me lately concerns the actual meaning of the term “unmask”:
verb (used with object)
1 – to strip a mask or disguise from.
2 – to reveal the true character of; disclose; expose.
3 – Military. to reveal the presence of (guns) by firing.~
verb (used without object)
Dictionary.com
4 – to put off one’s mask; appear in true nature.
For years we’ve heard the same voices, repeatedly shouting down dissenting opinions – that is, those opinions and views that deviate from the narrative pushed by our media and relegating them to the realm of “conspiracy theory”. This is done with the intent to marginalize the viewpoint and forcably remove it from public discourse, but as I have stated previously, neither conspiracy nor theory are defined as “crazy” or “insane” – neither then, would the combination of them.
I’ve joked for years with family and fiends that “you’re only paranoid if you’re wrong”, but seriously, let that sink in. You actually are only paranoid if you’re wrong. If you believe that someone is “out to get you” – in whatever fashion – and someone actually is, that’s not paranoia, that’s an accurate perspective of the situation at hand. If this make you chuckle, ask yourself why? Why is this “funny”? I’m being dead serious. And accurate.
I bring this up because I believe that the Lord is showing me (and I am far from alone in this) that He is about to begin revealing what has really been going on “behind the scenes” within the upper echelons of our cultures for generations. I believe that He’s bracing us for waves of revelation and, at the same time, displaying a deft hand as He does.
You see, much of what has been and is being done in secret is so wicked, so Machiavellian and so diabolic, that there is simply no way that we (as a whole) would accept the truth all at once. Even now, we can scarcely get John Q. Public to accept the fact that what passes for news in modernity is nothing more than state run propaganda. People still balk at the notion while veritable mountains of evidence pile-up in front of their faces. Granted, it’s getting better, but that only serves to illustrate my point. The first time Donald Trump barked “FAKE NEWS” from his podium, he was mocked. Now… not quite as much, but it took time to get more people to think things through, to analyze the information and confront the evidence. This will be no different.
Recently, I was led to review some ‘old’ information that, some years ago, led me to an awakening to spiritual principles I see clearly at work in the world today. Know that these are extremely negative principles pointing to the heart of idolatry and the worship of false gods. As I reviewed, I experienced a renewed sense of anger and revulsion. This was not some hair-triggered or surface-level response, but a deep-seated reaction to matters many would struggle to accept as a reality in our modern “enlightened” society.
What struck me most profoundly was the overwhelming sense, that all-but-out-loud voice telling me that this was but a fraction of what the Lord of Hosts feels regarding these issues. I felt no concern for those who would and have perpetrated violence upon the innocent, and no compulsion to pray for the changing of their hearts or the opening of their eyes… only a call for judgement and justice.
As I pondered this, I asked the Lord to clarify the matter for me:
“But as for you, Jeremiah, do not pray for these people. Do not raise a cry of prayer for them! Do not plead with me to save them, because I will not listen to you.”
Jeremiah 7:16
Is it for nothing that Jeremiah is called “the weeping prophet”?
Now I have always been a staunch advocate for context with regards to the study, understanding and application of scripture and it is in that spirit that I encourage you to go and read the book of Jeremiah. I point to this because I believe the Lord has been showing me that there is a principle illustrated here that we are seeing applied in our present circumstances… like a template of sorts.
The book of Jeremiah begins by essentially issuing an indictment against the people of God. Painstakingly and relatively exhaustive in form, the Lord of Hosts goes about illuminating the case against them, and furthermore presenting the evidence which corroborates the allegations. I am speaking in somewhat legal terms because that is exactly what’s transpiring here – like a Judge rendering a decision, God shows Jeremiah what judgment He has pronounced, and precisely why He has done so.
He goes further throughout the text to delineate and pronounce individual judgments and responses, but the crux of the message is that judgment is coming on a national level and this is the point; I believe the Lord is showing me (and many, many others) that a national, and even global judgement is coming… the one many of us have actually been requesting in prayer for years. Much like the pattern laid out in Jeremiah, God will make His case against the nations and display the evidence, proving the allegations to be true. Then, and only then, will the judgement come.
As issues are only beginning to unfold on the political stage of the United States, I am looking to see such come forth around the world. Masks will be removed, truth will be revealed in plain sight and the dark deeds of the wicked will be seen in the full light of day. It will be great, and it will be terrible.
I look forward with anticipation and, while it may sound strange to say that I eagerly await something I expect to be “terrible”, it is actually the reprieve it represents and the outpouring of grace that accompanies such events in scripture that I am looking forward to – even in the knowledge that “judgement starts within the house of the Lord.” (1 Peter 4:17) As I often say “let it be unto me and my household as YHVH says, no other.”
Incidentally, while Jeremiah prophesied horrendous suffering in Israel, and particularly those living in Jerusalem, do you know who wouldn’t have been affected? Those who heeded the words of the prophet.
Lastly, I’d like to share something with you that I was given via divine download – it came in lyrical form:
Pour it out, pour it out
You are the King above all things, there is no doubt
I know that judgement starts within your house
Seven bowls and even so, pour it out
I find it very interesting that this all seems to be culminating around the time of Shavuot, which begins next Thursday evening. Commemorating both the giving of the commandments, and the outpouring of the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit), I sense a theme unfolding.
Do you believe in coincidence? I don’t – I do not serve a God of coincidence, I serve a God who is explicit, specific and deliberate.
Am I alone in this? I think not.
Until next time,
if my people, who belong to me, humble themselves, pray, seek to please me, and repudiate their sinful practices, then I will respond from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.
