As a midwestern boy and a Kansas resident, I was saddened to awaken last Wednesday to find that the Value them Both amendment was struck down.
Honestly, I have to wonder how many folks actually know what they voted against? I certainly wasn’t blind or deaf to the onslaught of negative propaganda around this amendment, but honestly – did anyone actually read it? The amendment I mean. Did they read it?
Here’s what Kansans decided they didn’t want added to the state constitution;
§ 22. Regulation of abortion. Because Kansans value both women and children, the constitution of the state of Kansas does not require government funding of abortion and does not create or secure a right to abortion. To the extent permitted by the constitution of the United States, the people, through their elected state representatives and state senators, may pass laws regarding abortion, including, but not limited to, laws that account for circumstances of pregnancy resulting from rape or incest, or circumstances of necessity to save the life of the mother.
So, what this actually says, is that laws regarding abortion are the purview of the Kansas legislature, not the courts. To date, it seems that Americans have struggled with this concept – Judges don’t make laws, they interpret them. Moreover, nothing in the National or Kansas Constitutions speaks to a “right” to abortion. There is not now, nor was there ever any such language – this amendment would only have codified how things are already suppose to work!
“But, Brawndo… it’s got what plants crave.“

So here’s where we’re at now – this unfiltered and I offer no apology – if you voted “no” on this, or support(ed) that position, you are in a covenant with death. No two ways about it – regardless of whether you believe it’s infanticide or not, the outcome is the exact same; the baby dies.
The Master told us that “the tree is known by its fruit…” (Matthew 12:33 – 37 | Luke 6:43 – 45) and the fruit of this decision is more death.
Around 1 percent of abortions performed in the United States since Rove vs. Wade were conducted for any of the reasons we’ve been beaten over the head with for generations now ~ you know, rape, incest or a threat to the life of the mother. Yeah, about 1% of abortions performed have been for any of the reasons used to justify the practice. The remaining ninety-nine percent have essentially been a matter of birth control.
Honestly, I cannot express how sick that is. Even if one does not ascribe to the same moral code that I do, the opportunities to prevent a pregnancy prior to conception are abundant without needing to rip a fetus into pieces.
This isn’t okay – and I will neither be silent, nor will I be counted among those who are so wantonly evil or abjectly stupid as to agree with death. You voted for Moloch. You voted for Death. Knowingly or unknowingly you have entered into an agreement, a covenant with these entities – and I will have no part of it. I wish you all the luck in the world – because you’re going to need it.
For 50 years, America has been under a blood-libel because of this issue and of the will of people like you – but this is over. Count me among the remnant – those who HAVE humbled themselves, who HAVE sought the face of God, who HAVE turned from wickedness and sought His forgiveness (2 Chronicles 7:14). We are not counted among you. We are NOT in covenant with Death, and we will will NOT suffer the curses you are bringing upon yourselves.
Consider my (our) hands washed of this matter. The day will come, sooner or later, when you will reap as you have sown… may God have mercy on your souls.
May YHVH judge between you and me, and may YHVH avenge me on you! But I will not lay a hand on you — as the old saying has it, ‘Out of the wicked comes wickedness, but I will not lay a hand on you.’
1 Samuel 24:12 – 13 CJB
Not only will I not lay a hand on you, but I pray for you. I pray that in His infinite mercy, God will provide you with a revelation of truth – that He will grant you a contrite spirit and a repentant heart.
Until next time…
